Mining deep into the depths of a molten planet, the Boromite Mining facilities from Sarissa Precision make a great centre piece to any battlefield and many can be used across the tabletop as mine vents, objectives, or even imapssable obstacles! To view them on the Sarissa site, try their Sci-Fi Antares section.
Boromite life is centred around mining and general hard labour, the Boromites don’t usually condole themselves with other Panhumans and tend to keep to their own. They don’t like inactivity and normal comforts of life that most civilisations strive for, the Boromites general consensus is that such things are a simple waste. They are nomadic and will simply travel to find work and mine what they need and move on. A reciprocal relationship was formed with the Freeborn, travel for minerals and work, you can boil the Boromite life down as simplistic.
Boromite facilities and resources must be portable and liveable, as a result they tend to be large, sturdy and robust but surprisingly not as heavy as one would thought. Their dome-like structure is ideal for space travel and on the battlefield it creates a new perspective of line of sight, really making any army fighting for it become more creative on how they move around.
The Boromite buildings are highly modular, given their need to move on rapidly.
Boromite Hab Dome
To keep such a life afloat the Boromite facilities and resources must be portable and liveable, as a result they tend to be large, sturdy and robust but surprisingly not as heavy as one would thought. Their dome-like structure is ideal for space travel and on the battlefield it creates a new perspective of line of sight, really making any army fighting for it become more creative on how they move around.

Ore Trans Scanner
A great and rarely seen feature is the move-able transmat! The move-able transmat really gets the feel of an actual working facility, tireless moving to get the job done whilst the Boromites hold off numerous enemies. Add your own lighting to really bring the attention to where it is needed, whether there is a climatic battle ongoing within the facility or the building lays dormant during the aftermath, it really looks the part. [Ed: This is huge, almost 30cm across!]

Command Vent
In some ways similar to the ore transmat, the command vent provides access to and from the inner workings of a mine as well as allowing gases to escape. It is well-protected, with substantial amounts of shielding, so can act as a defensive objective.

Other Buildings and Scatter
There are a number of other pieces worth looking at, including a Boromite Transmat, an Ore Processing Scanner with 4×Ore canisters, the separate group of 4×ore canisters, and an observation light well set.

These fantastic buildings were envisioned by the main guys at Sarissa, Steve, Gary & AJ and inspired by Rich Carlisles representation of a Boromite facility.

Steve, being a Boromite player, was inspired by the lore of the Boromite Guilds!
